Dr. John Valenzuela, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Ojai, California began his private practice in 2021. His lifelong passion has been psychology graduating from UCLA with a BA in Psychology in 1995. He took a break from psychology for several years learning the ropes of higher education administration and teaching. He returned to school in 2007 to pursue his doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a school focused on humanistic and depth psychology. Given these different educational backgrounds, he continually looks for ways to bridge theoretical orientations.
